As you read the Gospels, you soon discover that Jesus was a storyteller. He used stories to make points regarding the Love of the Father, the Passion of the Savior and the worth of His people. Stories are valuable, effective tools of communication. In this day and age, the most effective medium of telling stories is video. You could stand in front of your church and tell your supporters about what God is doing in your ministry, or you could let those who are impacted by your ministry tell their stories themselves. Imagine taking your entire church out to the mission field to experience what is happening in the ministry of a missionary whom you support. While it might be a noble goal, it’s probably not very practical. However, through the medium of video, you can bring the mission field to your church. Through video you can see the faces and hear the testimonies of those who benefit from the ministry you support. You can hear and see, first hand, the lives that are impacted for the Kingdom of God. You can let the story tell itself.
